ETP Energy Innovation Emporium 2017

  • Wednesday, 31 May 2017 09:30 - 17:00

Venue: Technology & Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde

The Scottish Government's Draft Energy Strategy sets a vision for the future of Scotland’s energy sector to supply secure, reliable and affordable energy. With this vision comes a set of challenges and opportunities for industry, the public sector and academia to work together in developing the innovation required to meet the challenging climate change ambitions. There are questions around the decarbonisation of heat, the reliance on CCS and bioenergy to decarbonise electricity, the optimum use of energy systems modelling, and the effect of the strategy on enterprise, among others. This conference brings together industry, the public sector and academia to discuss innovation for the Energy Strategy.
