The Offshore GeoIndex database contains a range of valuable geochemical, geological, geotechnical and sediment data collected from around 80,000 offshore sampling locations. It is expected to be an important and useful resource for research into areas such as carbon storage, energy resources, planning, habitat mapping and conservation.
