Glasgow Centre for Sustainable Energy is newly launched

SCCS partner University of Glasgow last week launched the Glasgow Centre for Sustainable Energy. Congratulations to SCCS Directorate member Professor Gioia Falcone, Rankine Chair of Energy Engineering at James Watt School of Engineering who has been appointed Director of the centre. It is fitting that this university school named after Watt, the Scottish inventor who’s expertise across the disciplines of mechanical engineering and chemistry was fundamental to the last Industrial Revolution, is leading the way in the next one. Click here to find out more.
